The Kota Alliance is an umbrella organization elevating collaboration across borders for women-centered nonprofits, social enterprises and entrepreneurs.
We offer a hub where women can gather for community events and programs provided in collaboration with our local partners.
By sharing ideas, networking, advocating, and working together, we advance gender equity and promote women’s empowerment, both locally and globally.
Based in West Harlem, we bring programming to support women and gender minorities by collaborating with our community partner organizations in the areas of Creative Arts, Health & Wellness, and upskilling for economic empowerment.
Our work paves the path towards gender equity and inclusive economic growth.

Our Local Community
The Kota Alliance serves as a hub for our local community of individuals, entrepreneurs, and organizations to gather, network and share the space for our offering of events and programs.
Our Global Community
Our global members share our mission for gender equity and women’s empowerment and endorse the UN SDG #5 on Gender Equality through their programs for women and girls.
Kota helps raise awareness through our advocacy work for our global members. We also provide access to resources and our network of like-minded community of members.

Our home, the Kota Nest
Our home the Kota Nest in West Harlem serves our members and our community as a space to gather, share ideas, and collaborate.
We offer community space, event space rentals, and room lodging for our local and global community.
