Are you passionate about women’s rights and gender equality? Do you want to gain experience at a non-profit organization that empowers women? Do you want to meet new like-minded people and have fun?
Kota’s internships are a great way to gain grassroot NGO experience, new skills and to understand gender issues from diverse perspectives. Internships take place at the Kota’s office in West Harlem, but remote internships are also possible. We host multiple interns from different backgrounds and fields of study each year.
Required skills:
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
Commitment to and understanding of women’s, girls’ and LGBTQIA+ human rights
Ability to help in event production and social media communications
Data collection, research skills, fundraising, grant writing
Flexibility in work hours and tasks
