Kota is a non-profit global center for gender equity, where we focus on (a) digital literacy and (b) financial literacy, to advance women's economic empowerment. We envision our new West Harlem headquarters to become an epicenter for individuals, entrepreneurs, social activists, community leaders, and sister organizations working towards our shared goal of empowering women to achieve greater opportunities, economic stability, and financial success. Kota meets this mission across four floors that are designed to host programming and continued education, special events, and day-to-day meetings.
We ask you to join us for a one-hour listening session, led by West Monroe, while we fine tune Kota's programming to best serve our community. How can we help you?
Light refreshments will be served. Registered participants will receive a round-trip MetroCard.
Kota's West Harlem headquarters are accessible via the 145th St station (A/B/C/D) and buses M2, M3, M100, M101, and Bx6.
COVID Policy: Proof of vaccination is required for entry.
ACCESSIBILITY: The meeting is going to take place on the second floor, to which you have to take about 15 stairs that are about 8 inches high. There are chairs to rest on between the stairs. Bathrooms can be found on every floor. We won’t be using any sound systems or flashing lights.
