Join Milagros and The Kota Alliance for a special two-day event. The first part, hosted at Kota’s West Harlem headquarters, will consist of an in-person empowerment workshop led by Lourds Lane (the creator of SuperYou,) including music, art, self-expression, and superhero cape creation. The second part is a live, full-cast stage performance of her Broadway-Bound rock musical at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Because No One is Coming to Save You…. If we have been let down, betrayed, and disappointed by leaving our fate in the hands of parents, lovers, or the government; can we finally take ownership of our own destiny and become our own Superhero? Think about this: If you were your own Superhero, what would be your name? What would be your powers? What would be your creed? What would your cape look like? YOU WILL CREATE YOUR OWN CAPE.

Lourds has invited Milagros to participate from the audience during the show in a "call and response" sequence, while wearing our superhero capes and embodying the concept of being your own superhero!
