What is your definition of self-defense? Come learn what your mind, voice and body can do to keep you safe.
You will learn strategies such as situational awareness, boundary setting and de-escalation for self protection and physical techniques for fighting back. The class will include discussion, a light warmup, and striking drills with pads. Common types of attacks will be addressed. Questions and having fun is encouraged!
No experience is necessary and all levels of ability are welcome. There is no charge, but if you’d like to make a $5-10 donation to Kota Alliance, the proceeds go towards bringing more events like this one to you.
